Simply You Weddings

Rebecca & Troy got married at the Casa Marina Resort in Key West on April 23, 2010. Their wedding was simple, elegant and a ton of fun; very indicative of the couple! They had their ceremony on the beach followed by a cocktail style reception on the patio. Becca & Troy had their friend’s Dan Higgins photograph their wedding and Jeff Howell of the Poker Dogs provide the entertainment. The event was all about the celebration of Rebecca, Troy and their friends and family. Thanks for letting me be a part of your day; I look forward to the future and what it has in store for all of us!

Joy & Patrick are two of the most amazing people and I had the privilege of helping them plan their beautiful wedding day at St. Mary’s Catholic Church and a reception to follow at Casa Marina a Waldorf Astoria Resort.

The Matron of Honor had the groomsmen’s pants designed and made and the Maid of Honor, Joy’s sister made the tables cloths, ceremony programs & placecards.  Two amazingly talented women!  Decor & Design was done by Mama Flowers, Key West Party Rentals and BBJ Linen.  We went with a Navy Blue, White & Cerise Pink as our color palette with accents of silver.  Key West Cakes did an amazing job with a replica of the linen design on the cake itself.  Marie -Pierre and team also did a great job in making the ladies look fabulous.

I had the opportunity to work with Shane Carpenter of Shane Carpenter Photography….WOW!  Truly talented and extremely easy to work with.  He captured Joy & Patrick perfectly!  I also worked with a new band that Joy & Patrick hired from Washington DC; The Source.  They were amazing and so entertaining.  The staff at the Casa Marina is still talking about them!  :)

Erica & Todd got married at the historic Casa Marina in the Grand Ballroom.  They wanted a laid back Key West destination wedding with a touch of simple elegance.  The bride wore a beautiful wedding dress that transformed in to the perfect party dress for the reception. The flowers, cake, decor and music were perfect.  A huge thank you to Key West Cakes, Casa Marina, BBJ Linen, Mama Flowers, the Irie Band and John Hunter Photography for another successful event.

Sara & Keith had a beautiful ceremony at St. Paul’s Church located on the historic Duval Street in Key West, Florida followed by their reception at the Casa Marina.  We focused on a wasabi and pumpkin color palette to create the look they were envisioning.  The couple really wanted something simple, but elegant.  Another amazing job by Mama Flowers and John Hunter Photography.

After many months of planning with Jill and her mom Adrienne and many visits to Key West.  Jill & Blake’s May destination wedding was absolutely beautiful.  Jill & Blake were married on the beach at the Casa Marina, enjoyed cocktails on Flagler’s terrace and then moved back to the beach to party under the stars.  They decided to see each other prior to the wedding ceremony.  Every moment was captured by John Hunter and his talented team.  Congrats to Blake & Jill; an amazing couple!
