The Colyvas-McInnis Wedding at the Reach, Key West

The wedding of Angela Colyvas and Sean McInnis last December 29th will be an elegant affair to remember for years to come. Flares of rustic beauty, Old World class, and New World simplicity all came together to create an atmosphere that was draped in both honor and enthusiasm. The scene was set at The Reach, where the ceremony was to be held at the end of an intimate pier with enclosed gazebo under the direction of Rev. Randy Becker, while some 70 guests looked on with the vista of a deep blue sea encompassing the background. The couple’s appearance was striking, yet understated, as Angela was adorned in an simply beautiful white strapless gown and veil, and Sean all too dapper in his black suit. The Bay Kings set the mood with acoustic guitar in the air. Nearby stood the sand sculpture of a globe with the script “Wherever we’re together is home.” Afterward they were certainly made at home on the Caribe Terrace, where the cocktail reception was set to receive among white stanchions and Gold Chiavari padded chairs. Suddenly the scene was set for an 18th Century French salon. Ornate candelabras and vintage frames of family enhanced the atmosphere as dinner was served, and finally the wedding cake made its appearance. A dinner, dessert, and a few dances under the stars later, the evening was complete, and a couple was blessed as they began their journey. We were only too happy to be a part of it.

Lisa & Bill’s Vow Renewal

Lisa & Bill renewed their vows on their original wedding anniversary in Key West at the Hyatt Key West Resort. Lisa had a gorgeous vision of red, black & ivory for her special day. Rick of Avant-Gardens assisted us in making this vision come true. Gorgeous red roses, black candelabra’s, candle light and stunning ivory draping throughout the room. Their ceremony took place on the dock at the Hyatt under a beautiful white tent officiated by Rev. Eddie Rodriguez. Dogs are a huge part of Lisa & Bill’s life and of course all the chihuahua’s were present to celebrate this day; one in a dress made from the bride’s Vera Wang gown and the other in a tuxedo. It was an incredibly special day for these two and one of the most fun, memorable & special planning experiences we at Simply You have had with one of our couples. Regina & Jarred’s Little Palm Island Destination Wedding!

Regina & Jarred were married this past spring in a lovely ceremony on Little Palm Island surrounded by friends and family. Their beautiful sunset ceremony was followed by an intimate, candlelit reception on Harbor Point. Manolo Doreste of In Focus Studios was on the island to capture all of the beautiful moments shared by this couple. Gigi the bride really wanted something that emanated the beauty of the island as well as the couple’s style. Milan Events captured this in the style of the decor and design.
