Michaela & Michael were married in Key West this past July. They celebrated their ceremony at Fort Zachary Taylor Beach followed by a beautiful reception at Ocean Key Resort & Spa. You could tell by the energy this group was out to have a great time and enjoy every minute. The reception took place underneath a gorgeous white tent accented with tiffany blue linen and gorgeous white flowers provided by Mama Flowers. This couple finished out the night in true form with a “dip” in the resort’s pool. JHunter Photography was on site to capture each moment.

Bethany & Jeff’s Key West Destination Wedding

Bethany and Jeff were married this past October at The Ocean Key Resort & Spa by Sue Hyde at the water’s edge overlooking the sunset on the Gulf of Mexico. The event was designed mostly by the groom, Jeffery. The clear top tent was decorated with orange and blue paper lanterns, while the tables were covered with royal overlays and orange accents. Talent, the agency of choice, provided all of the music for the evening; a single guitar for the ceremony, a duo for cocktail hour and DJ services for the group to dance the night away. Erin & Sadiq’s Destination Key West Wedding

Erin and Sadiq were married this September on a gorgeous summer day at The Casa Marina. The intimate ceremony by Aaron Wechter took place on the East Beach under a white garden arch with gorgeous flowers provided by Milan Events. The decor was a reflection of the bride’s keen sense of style. We chose the Adele Lamour Linens for the cocktail tables with accents of eggplant purple. The Grand Ballroom was set using square tables to make one long table in the center of the ballroom. The tables were adorned with Eggplant Lamour linens and Silver Dahlia overlays with silver table accents. The vintage look of the flowers on the table were amazing and the candles provided such a romantic glow. The guests enjoyed the sounds of a classical trio of musicians. Annie & Ryan’s Destination Key West Wedding!

There is so much to say about this wedding. What an awesome weekend Simply You had with this couple. Really the entire planning process was a blast. After numerous conference calls with Joe (FOB), Annie (Bride), Ryan (Groom) & Susie (MOB), we made it to the main event. 110 people traveled to the Beachside Marriott Resort in Key West from Ohio for this amazing couple and family. I think they had half of the hotel as everyone wanted to stay together. The weekend kicked off with a welcome reception at the Conch Republic Seafood Company. All of the guests were transported via the Historic Trolleys from the Beachside Resort to the Conch Farm. The Wedding Day kicked off with a first look between the bride and groom. Hilton Pittman Photography was on site to capture every moment of this day. The ceremony was on the beach at the resort, followed by a cocktail reception at the pool cabanas and a reception inside the ballroom. It was a warm July day, but I don’t think this group could be stopped from having a blast no matter the circumstances. The bride & groom selected a bright orange and green color palate for décor. Love in bloom created gorgeous arrangements accented by limes & oranges. We went with neutral white linen, but accented the tables further with custom menus within color scheme (created by Susie the MOB), wicker chargers and mahogany chiavari chairs. Susie also made fantastic pillow covers for the existing Beachside Marriott pillows on the lounge furniture to accentuate the overall décor & colors. You know this group was Ohio State Football fans when the father/daughter dance was “Hang on Sloopy” a tribute to the Ohio State team. The group had a blast dancing the night away and there was an infinite line for the photo booth. Congrats to all of you!! Simply You had a blast being a part of your day and weekend.

Jane & Hank’s Destination Wedding

Jane & Hank were married in Marathon, Florida this past May at the bride’s family house on the water. It was a perfect setting for an elegant beach reception. Avant-Gardens created a gorgeous setting with unique lighting, chandeliers hanging from palm trees, décor and candle light. The bride & groom were married on the point of the property under a gorgeous canopy. As the bride entered the beach, a church choir coordinated by Gayla Morgan sang and played traditional wedding music. It was a perfect mix of simplicity and elegance. Directly following the ceremony the guests were greeted by a traditional “Second Line”, (just like in New Orleans) and paraded around the property. Boondock’s Catering created 5 amazing custom food stations that emanated the bride & groom’s taste in food & culture. The food was both gorgeous and incredibly good. Cakes by Karol also created an equally gorgeous and tasty dessert display of the bride’s favorites. The group danced the night away to the tunes of the Ruby Baker Band and had a blast. At 11pm the bride & groom surprised all of their guests with a fantastic firework’s display.
