Michaela & Michael were married in Key West this past July. They celebrated their ceremony at Fort Zachary Taylor Beach followed by a beautiful reception at Ocean Key Resort & Spa. You could tell by the energy this group was out to have a great time and enjoy every minute. The reception took place underneath a gorgeous white tent accented with tiffany blue linen and gorgeous white flowers provided by Mama Flowers. This couple finished out the night in true form with a “dip” in the resort’s pool. JHunter Photography was on site to capture each moment.

Jamie & Dave’s Destination Wedding in Key West

Jamie and Dave hosted their wedding on two fantastic days in the Florida Keys this past June. First they started their wedding events on a Wednesday at Ft. Zach Beach with their close family and friends. After the ceremony, guests were invited to a small cocktail party at Kelly’s Caribbean Restaurant. The second day of festivities was held on Saturday where all of the bride & groom’s guests were invited to join them at the Reach Resort, A Waldorf Asotoria Resort. The evening started with Key Lime Margarita’s and heavy hors d’oevures. The guests danced the night away under the stars and a fantastic lightening storm while Soundwave Productions spun some of their favorite tunes. Solaris Photography was on site to capture this couple’s many memories.

Jane & Hank’s Destination Wedding

Jane & Hank were married in Marathon, Florida this past May at the bride’s family house on the water. It was a perfect setting for an elegant beach reception. Avant-Gardens created a gorgeous setting with unique lighting, chandeliers hanging from palm trees, décor and candle light. The bride & groom were married on the point of the property under a gorgeous canopy. As the bride entered the beach, a church choir coordinated by Gayla Morgan sang and played traditional wedding music. It was a perfect mix of simplicity and elegance. Directly following the ceremony the guests were greeted by a traditional “Second Line”, (just like in New Orleans) and paraded around the property. Boondock’s Catering created 5 amazing custom food stations that emanated the bride & groom’s taste in food & culture. The food was both gorgeous and incredibly good. Cakes by Karol also created an equally gorgeous and tasty dessert display of the bride’s favorites. The group danced the night away to the tunes of the Ruby Baker Band and had a blast. At 11pm the bride & groom surprised all of their guests with a fantastic firework’s display. Christine & Brett’s Wedding at the Hyatt Resort!

Christine & Brett were married this June at the Hyatt Key West Resort on the waterfront pier followed by a beautiful reception in the Marquesa. The bride & groom wanted a simple yet elegant look for their event. We used a light blue to accent with linen and finished the look with yellow floral designs by Love in Bloom. The Hyatt created a delicious “Island” themed menu that was a perfect fit for this Key West Destination Wedding. Solaris Photography was on site to capture the details and beautiful wedding day for Christine & Brett. Congratulations to you both!

Lindsay & Chris’ Destination Key West Wedding!

Lindsay & Chris got married in Key West this past April at the Casa Marina! The ceremony was elegantly decorated on the beach at the resort, followed by a sophisticated reception. Lindsay’s bridesmaids wore gorgeous chocolate brown dresses and the accent colors were whites, ivories, gold & silver. Peter with Milan Events created the perfect ceremony and the most perfect reception for this couple. We used a gold damask linen with accents of harvest shantung on the tables to accent the gorgeous centerpieces. One of the most important things to the bride was that Lyra her lab was a part of this special day. Lyra made her big entrance to “You are my Best Friend” played by a classical trio guitar, harp & violin. John Hunter Photography provided amazing coverage as you will see in the attached photos and also included their photo booth for a little fun at the reception. The lighting and weather could have not been more perfect for Chris & Lindsay’s wedding day. I had an absolute blast being a part of this wedding and planning each and every detail.
