Jamie & Bryan were married this past December at the Casa Marina during the day followed by a lovely brunch in the Grand Ballroom. The couple began their wedding weekend with a sunset sail on the Fury Catamaran for all of their guests while Great Events provided a festive BBQ on the boat. The couple decided on a soft palette of pink and ivory for their daytime decor. Milan Events was on site to provide the simple but elegant look. Brooklyn & Matt’s Key West Destination Wedding

This was one of our favorite weddings this year. Brooklyn and Matt were an amazing couple to work with and get to know throughout the year Simply You had the pleasure of planning their wedding. Both from the Chicago area, the couple wanted a fun, elegant and laid back weekend in Key West. We had an action packed weekend planned for this awesome couple. We started with a welcome brunch for close friends and family at the Rooftop Cafe. Later that evening, we hosted their welcome reception at Grunt’s Bar with catering provided by DJ’S Clam Shack. The groom brought some amazing wines (sommelier) to enhance the evening and the dinner. The wedding day was hosted at Ocean Key Resort & Spa. The bride had 3 inspiration colors (yellow, ice blue & coral) that we utilized in the bridesmaid’s dresses as well as throughout the decor, linen & floral. The couple wanted a French/Country look meets Key West! We had a blast designing this party. Wine Boxes, romantic flowers, unique lighting, and bright linens all provided by Milan Events. The couple loved food, so something unique was definitely in order. The chef at Ocean Key designed a fantastic menu and the groom paired various wines featured at tasting bars throughout the reception. I had a blast planning this event! Robin & Kevin’s Destination Wedding in Key West!

Robin & Kevin hosted their wedding in Key West this past July. They started their special day getting ready with Lorri Bolander of Key West Hair & Makeup at Old Town Manor where they had hosted all of their guests and took over the entire guesthouse. It was a beautiful summer day with a ceremony on the beach at Fort Zachary Taylor followed by their garden reception at the Old Town Manor. Robin & Kevin wanted something elegant but colorful. We brought together their color inspiration in their flowers and wedding cake. The wedding cake was covered in multi colored butterflies provided by Cakes by Karol. Chris & Cary’s Destination Wedding

Chris and Cary were married on the 12th of November at The Casa Marina. The weather could not have been more perfect. The bright pink that the bride chose was absolutely beautiful for all of her ladies. Milan Events created a unique setup for the ceremony. Behind and surrounding the bamboo arch were bright pink and green paper lanterns. It looked amazing on the beach. After the ceremony, we relocated the lanterns to the welcome tables and other places to add a pop of color. At the end of the ceremony, the bride’s toast to the groom…a live bagpiper. For the reception in the Grand Ballroom at the Casa Marina the tables were adorned with Cerise Bengaline overlays and white chiavari chairs. Alicia & Eddie’s Destination Wedding

Alicia and Eddie were married this October at the beautiful Casa Marina. The ceremony took place on the beach over looking the Atlantic Ocean. The bride & groom decided to have a “first look.” This is something Simply You & JHunter Photography highly recommend. This allows for the couple to spend some intimate time together and take all of the major photos prior to the party. The ceremony was simple and allowed for the natural elements of the beach and ocean to speak for it’s self. Following the ceremony, guests enjoyed cocktail hour on the Flagler Patio before entering the Flagler Ballroom. Love in Bloom provided the floral decor for this reception. The guests danced to the tunes of Soundwave Productions as they enjoyed tasty cupcakes from Key West Cakes. Congratulations to Alicia and Eddie.
