I started my career in hospitality while in school working in the food and events industry. My first job out of college was in Key West at a hotel in event sales. Not only did Key West get under my skin, but so did events. I spent 12 years working resort events in Nantucket, Newport, Salt Lake City (opening for the Olympics) and Key West. While there, I worked at boutique style, high end properties and I really liked the personalized service and culture.
After working for another wedding planning firm in between hotel jobs, I was hooked. I decided that I wanted to start my own business and wedding plan for a living.
Some clients have even become life long friends. I love seeing all the hard work come together in the end and am so fortunate to be able to do what I love.

Brittany
Brittany has spent 14 years in the event industry and works with our full service clients. She keeps the team entertained with her Southern charm and coffee obsession. She loves Key West weddings because they manifest a weekend long celebration. It’s also a cute, quirky town with so many hidden gems to host events. She is also mom to sweet Caroline and boss babe of LIT Marquee.
Olena
Olena has been in the industry for three years and keeps the entire office organized and operating. She is also one of our month of specialists. In her spare time you can find her driving her big yellow jeep with her sweet German Shepard Jack or working out at any Cross Fit Gym.
Desiree
Desiree started in the hospitality industry by first going to culinary school. After finding her way to the front of the house and experiencing the wedding side, she was hooked. She is also one of our month of specialists. Desiree loves Key West because of the water, sun, sand, trees & roosters! She provides countless moments of laughter and plenty of entertainment.
Kayla
Kayla has been in the wedding industry for 10+ years. She loves seeing everyone’s hard work and planning come alive through the florals, design details, menu choices and music. She appreciates that Key West and The Florida Keys offer an island lifestyle with a touch of uniqueness and one-of-a kind entertainment; the perfect destination to celebrate the most important day of your life! She is a creative at heart, and when she’s not planning weddings, she can be found designing custom signage and details through her small business, Blue Thistle Studio.
Jenn
Jenn has been planning and assisting couples for over ten years and works with our full service couples. She uses her varied hospitality experience to facilitate and execute fabulous Key West and Florida Keys weddings. Mom to twin boys Jake & Max she multitasks and provides a calming presence in the ballroom, on the beach or wherever event day may take her.
